Filipino singer-actor Christian Bautista will be featured in the upcoming concert of iconic ’90s Irish pop group Westlife.

The ‘Asia’s Romantic Balladeer’ will join the band in their concept show, titled “The Hits Tour 2024,” which will kick off at the historic Prambanan Temple in Yogyakarta, Indonesia on Friday, June 7, 2024.

Indonesia is known for its massive Westlife fan base, and to mark a special tribute to their Indonesian supporters, it is also the primary location for the tour.

The group, consisting of Nicky Byrne, Shane Filan, Kian Egan, and Mark Feehily, promises to bring a fresh concept to the concert. Although, their fifth member Mark Feehily will not be attending the concert due to health reasons, but is hoping to rejoin after his recovery.

Westlife is known for their singles ‘Uptown Girl,’ ‘You Raise Me Up,’ and ‘Fool Again,’ among others.

Christian Bautista, who was catapulted to fame in Indonesia through his hit song ‘The Way You Look At Me,’ is also similarly popular in the Southeast Asian country and him being chosen as the opening act is described to “add excitement” to the event.
