On Sunday, April 14, ABS-CBN musical variety show ‘ASAP Natin ‘To’ dedicated a segment to the trending P-pop team and ‘The Nation’s Girl Group’ BINI.
The 8-member group celebrated the success of their hit song ‘Pantropiko’ with a grand production number together with their fellow Kapamilya artists and BLOOMs from around the Philippines and abroad.
This special act coincides with the recent achievement made by the song, which has been listened to more than 20 million times on music streaming platform Spotify.
The said feat allowed BINI to surpass band Ben&Ben as the highest-charting Filipino music act on the said platform.
Apart from that, they also sold out their upcoming three-day ‘BINIverse’ concert in less than two hours.
‘BINIverse’ is the group’s first-ever solo concert, which will take place from June 28 to 30, 2024 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
BINI debuted in May 2021 and is composed of 8 members, namely Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena.
Last March 8, in time for the International Women’s Day, BINI dropped their first-ever extended play ‘Talaarawan,’ which includes the above-mentioned viral song, as well as five other tracks like ‘Salamin, Salamin,’ and ‘Karera,’ among others.
Together with fellow P-pop act G22, the girl group is representing the Philippines in Chinese music competition program ‘Show It All,’ which will begin airing this month.
