The group continues to make their indelible mark in the local music scene.
In a social media post, music management company Star Music shared the latest achievement of “The Nation’s Girl Group” Bini and their fans, Blooms.
Due to their growing listenership on music streaming platform Spotify, the Filipino pop group has finally debuted on the ‘Top Artists Global’ chart at rank 193.
They are the first P-pop group and Filipino musical act in general to ever make it to the said list.
This newest feat comes days after Bini breached the 6 million monthly listeners mark, as well as their third debut anniversary today, June 11.
In celebration of this milestone, the group and their management held a ‘National Happy BINI Day’ inside the One Ayala mall in Makati City.
The day is filled with activities for the group’s fanbase, such as dance workshops, a gallery, and an hour with the members themselves.
Recently, Bini also officially opened their official website, which will be a one-stop-shop for their exclusive contents, official fan club membership, and merchandises.
The group is also booked and busy for the month of June, as they are confirmed to be performing at the ‘Musikalayaan’ event in commemoration of the Philippines’ 126th Independence Day on Wednesday, June 12 in Luneta, Manila.
On June 22, they will also be part of the line-up of performers for the Pride March organized by the Quezon City Government at the Quezon Memorial Circle.
To end the month will be their sold-out three-night ‘BINIverse’ concert at the New Frontier Theater from June 28 to 30.
For those who won’t be able to come to Manila fot that, the concert experience will also be eventually brought to Blooms in Baguio, Cebu, General Santos, and Canada soon.
On top of all that, there will also be “cherry-filled” track from ‘The Nation’s Girl Group’ soon, as they have already dropped the first teaser for the song ‘Cherry On Top’ on Tuesday, June 10.
Bini debuted in June 2021 with their title track ‘Born To Win’ and is composed of 8 members, namely Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena.
In recent months, the group experienced a surge in popularity after the release of their viral sensation hits ‘Pantropiko’ and ‘Salamin, Salamin,’ as well as the charting of the team’s prior singles like ‘Na Na Na,’ ‘Lagi,’ and ‘I Feel Good,’ among others, on Spotify.
