Korean singer-songwriter Kim Hanbin, also known by his stage name BI, is in the Philippines again to stage the Manila leg of his ‘Hype Up’ tour.

BI will hold the concert at the SM North EDSA Skydome in Quezon from 6:00 pm on Sunday, June 9.

The concert will be his second time in the country this year, with his most recent visit being his ‘Loved’ fan meeting in Pasay City last March 4.

BI began his career in 2009 after featuring in MC Mong’s ‘Indian Boy.’

He then went on to debut as part of iKON’s original line-up in 2015, and became key to the group’s successful hits like ‘Rhythm Ta,’ ‘#WYD,’ and the 2018 smash K-pop hit ‘Love Scenario,’ which also helped him win the Songwriter of the Year award at the MelOn Music Awards that year.

In 2019, he departed from the group amid a controversy.

In 2021, he returned to the limelight as a soloist, and has since released albums ‘Waterfall,’ ‘To Die For,’ extended plays ‘Cosmos,’ and two parts of ‘Love or Loved,’ — the second part of which was released last November 2023.
