A new track from the ‘Aces of P-pop’ is here.
On Friday, June 7, Filipino male pop group BGYO dropped their newest single titled ‘Gigil,’ which is theit second single to be released this year.
Immediately after it was released on digital music streaming platforms at midnight, the song ranked number 1 in the iTunes Charts in the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, and UAE, number 2 in Singapore, and number 3 in Hong Kong.
Aside from the song, a performance video was also uploaded by their label Star Music featuring members Gelo, Akira, JL, Mikki, and Nate.
‘Gigil’ is the group’s sophomore single this 2024, following ‘Patintero’ that was released back in February.
Aside from their new music, members Gelo, JL, and Mikki also collectively reached a new milestone today after graduating together from the senior high school program, along with labelmates and BINI members Maloi and Colet.
BGYO is also preparing for their participation in the upcoming out-of-the-country edition of Sunday musical variety show ‘ASAP Natin ‘To’ in California, USA this August.
Ths five-member group, which comprises of Gelo, JL, Akira, Mikki, and Nate, made their debut in January 2021 through their first single ‘The Light’ and went on to release songs like ‘The Baddest,’ ‘He’s Into Her,’ ‘Kulay,’ and ‘Tumitigil Ang Mundo,’ among others.
